I ndigo Palm is growing at a comfortable pace as a lifestyle brand and I wanted to enhance our current (and future) offerings by sharing some of my favorite smoothie, foodie and cocktail recipes with you in the years to come. This post is starting you off with a seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Pie! I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of the Pumpkin Spice craze and all of the artificial flavors that tend to come with it but this rendition is natural, wholesome and healthy, so dig in!!
1 Cup Almond or Coconut Milk
3/4 Cup Organic Pumpkin Puree (unsweetened)
1 Large Frozen Banana
1 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder of Choice (I used SFH Grass Fed Whey Protein) but also really love Sprout Living's Epic Plant Based Protein in Vanilla Lucuma for a vegan option.
For mine, I added a tablespoon of hemp seed, a few chopped dried figs, slivered almonds, shaved coconut, and banana slices. Other great seasonal options could be pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, sliced apples or granola.
